From Sulmona to Castel di Sangro

- 09:00 AM The historical train leaves from Sulmona, itinerary panoramic tour going up to the Peligna valley and the Mitra hill going into the territory of the Majella National Park.
- 10:30 AM Intermediate stop by Palena station, on the passage at an altitude of 1258 mt above the sea level. Typical products bt local farms will be shown in the wonderful scenary of Quarto of St.Chiara.
- 11:30 AM Departure of the historical train.
- 12:10 PM The train stop at the station of Alfedena-Scontrone. Passengers who choose to spend a long day stop can get of the train to have lunch, to have a guidate tour or exursion in the two places of Alto Sangro at the border of National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, and the ancient Aufidena with it’s old town, the octagonal tower of the XII century castle, the museum of the ancient sannita civilization and the typical Scontrone village, built up to the valley of Sangro with its panoramic view point and its painted old town and its museum centre built all over the village, guidate tours and the shuttle bus must be booked in andvace. The train leaves at 17:20 PM.
- 12:30 PM Arrival and stop for passengers at Castel di Sangro station. Passengers who want to spend a long day stop can get of the train and have free time, have lunch and have guidate tours in the old town, visiting the cathedral, the Patiniana art gallery into the old Petra palace and the Archeological museum located into the Maddalena convent.
- 17:10 PM The train leaves from Castel di Sangro station.
- 17:20 PM Arrival at the Alfedena-Scontrone station and stop for the passengers.
- 17:30 PM The train leaves from Alfedena-Scontrone station.
- 19:00 PM Final arrived at Sulmona station.
